Maybe you grew up on the proper side of the economy where working for the things you have requires the respect that you would require and expect for the things you have. But in my generation, which obviously you're not a part of, sir, is a generation that is owned by the bank. We live from month to month. Car payment to car payment. And between college loans, rent payments and a car note, the car will always win because having a new car is the status symbol Sir of the times, whether in success or economic downfall. Most of my friends are from well to do families, and they have the opportunity to have parents buy them these things or at least sign off as a co-signer. Having served in the military, kids are deployed at 19 yrs old, come back from a 6 month deployment with $10K-$15K extra to spend. Kids, I guess I can include myself, seeing as you cant follow my age and generational differences, in that statement have a completely different view of cars. The 240 was an ugly car and the only reason its being used still is because its a cheap piece of crap to fix, work on, modify and insure. I appreciate your opinion, value your words, and look forward to seeing you around the forum, but swearing Sir, regardless if your opinion is correct or not, makes you look as foolish. Grow up Bro, its a conversation about a car you and I will not, and have no intention of owning.
